Jill Angel Langlois grew up in Park Forest where she began writing short stories at the age of eight and poetry at the age of twelve. Her poems and short stories have appeared in literary magazines, anthologies and newspapers in the Chicagoland area as well as nationally. She holds a B.A. in English & American Literature from Governors State University, University Park, IL.
Scattered Petals, her first collection of poetry, explores the healing power of nature. Whiskey Nights, her second collection of poetry, is inspired by both whiskey and music. Jill is currently writing a memoir entitled “Tell Me The Story,” which is about growing up adopted and reuniting with her birth mother.
She lives in Yorkville with her husband, Aaron, her birth mother, Sue, and their three cats.
